Welcome to the S.S. Sicamous Marine Heritage Museum
Step back into the Okanagan's history on the fully restored S.S. Sicamous steam paddlwheeler. Once the major transportation between Okanagan communities and settlements and the first link in the connection to the outside world, these steam vessels carried settlers, prospectors, cattlemen and the odd bandit, as well as the produce and exports of the Okanagan to the outside world.
Explore a real steam-powered steel-hulled paddle-wheeler, the last of her kind in Canada. Take a look at a real work horse of her time, the steam tug S.S. Naramata, See displays that show the life and times of people in the early Okanagan.
