The Deck Lights are Back!!!!

On Thursday, with help from the City and volunteers, we put new LED lights outlining the decks and hog chains on the Sicamous, lit the decks on the Naramata and outlined the Dredge Shed.

The Park is absolutely beautiful at night and really stands out when you are driving in to Penticton from the North or flying in.

Our volunteers, Earl & Margaret Mueksch ; Mathew and Marlies Verboeket; Jack Weller; Adolf Steffen from our next-door neighbour LocoLanding plus our stalwart manager, Don Wright did a fantastic job under tough – very COLD – conditions.

The two guys in the bucket truck, from the Penticton Electrical Dept., were Brian Robson and Bill Wilson, whose assistance was very much appreciated!

A much-needed hot lunch was provided for our frozen crew by Barb Schneiderat.
